Project Description:
The project involves rehabilitation of 6.6km of NYS Route 3/30. During the rehabilitation of this section of highway, five drainage culverts along Route 3/30, involving wetlands, will be extended. The project involves 0.0214 acres of temporary wetland impacts and 0.001 acres of permanent wetland impacts. Erosion control measures will be installed between shoulder grading and reconstruction work and wetland boundaries along the highway to prevent additional wetland impacts.

YMCA Camp Chingachgook

Project Description:
Applicants propose construction of a structure in excess of 40 feet in height, a new 52-foot high climbing wall to be used in the existing YMCA camp for existing camp, school outdoor education, and family and adult retreat programs. The wall will be constructed of cedar lumber and telephone poles. There will also be a 3-foot tall lightning rod on top of the structure for lightning protection.
Positive Declaration and Public Scoping Session
Saratoga County - The Halfmoon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Halfmoon Comprehensive Plan may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A Public Scoping Session will be held on April 29, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center, Upper Newtown Road, Halfmoon, NY. The action involves the Adoption of the Town of Halfmoon Comprehensive Plan by the Halfmoon Town Board. The project is located in the Town of Halfmoon.
