ENB Region 7 Completed Applications 03/26/2003

The applicant has proposed a 9.3 acre expansion to an existing 7 acre mine.   The revised reclamation plan is for a larger 11.0 acre pond. The Department of Environmental Conservation owns a 25' easement through the property for clearing and snagging for flood control purposes.  The proposed plan, which DEC has approved conceptually, would reroute the easement.  A larger staging area at the Susquehanna River's edge is being proposed as part of the easement.  The project is located on Route 11, south of Trim Street.

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a permit for a proposed discharge of an average of  21,000 gallons per day (total) of treated (leach bed or absorption field) domestic sewage to groundwater from seven outfalls at the applicant's facility located at the Northeast Christian Conference Center, Jones Road, Victory (T), Cayuga County, which is a temporary meeting facility.

The applicant proposes to create a series of potholes in project areas of about 1.5 acres to enhance habitat for waterfowl in regulated freshwater wetland JAM-18.  Project is located at 2479 Apulia-Jamesville Road, Lafayette, NY.
