Project Description:
The applicant proposes to expand a 155.5 acre limestone quarry mine to include an additional 6.3 acres on a 210 acre parcel owned by the applicant, immediately east of NYS Route 37, one mile north of Pamelia Center.  The expansion area is distributed at several locations along the present mine boundary.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
SEQR Lead Agency:
NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:
Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Apr 18 2003.

Project Description:
The New York Power Authority proposes to stabilize a 2000' long section of eroded earthen bank 2' to 7' in height along Sucker Brook by grading the bank to a more stable slope, installing geotextile fabric along with approximately 5000 cubic yards of rip-rap, concrete erosion control units, and select vegetative plantings.  The project is located along the eastern shore of Sucker Brook in the Village of Waddington, St. Lawrence County.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:
NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
