The applicant proposes to
operate a 5.0 acre life of mine surface consoldiated bluestone
mine of which the entire 5.0 acres are to be affected during the permit term. Bluestone
will be excavated using drilling, minor blasting and mechanical equipment. Reclamation of
the site will revert the quarry to its previous land use as forestry and unmanaged natural
habitat. The site is located on the western side of Blanchard Road 2.35 miles from the
intersection of Bagley Brook Road (CR 2) and State Route 10.
