The applicant proposes to
construct a vertical breakwall of approximately 199 lineal feet
on Cranberry Pond, NYS DEC regulated Freshwater Wetland GR-19 (Class I), in order
to protect the shoreline from erosion. The proposed H-beam and plank wall is to be
placed generally at or above the mean high water elevation, at the edge of the wetland
proper. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS
DEC Regional Headquarters.
