The applicant proposes to relocate existing lot lines and construct two dwellings on properties that contains vegetated tidal wetlands.  The dwelling proposed on the  northern lot is proposed to be located within 8 feet of the tidal wetland boundary and the proposed dwelling on the southern lot is proposed within 9 feet of the tidal wetland boundary, thereby requiring variances from the 75 foot setback development restriction.  The project site is located at Branch Avenue in the Village of Freeport, Nassau County.  NCTM # section 62, block 187, lots 646-653.

Applicant proposes to install one 20" x 10" diameter public supply well with the capacity to pump 650 gallons per minute (gpm).  The well will be approximately 600 feet deep and will be located in the Wayne Court well field which serves portions of  Middleville, Vernon Valley, Fort Salonga and the village of Northport.

The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling within the adjacent area associated with the regulated freshwater wetland designated M-20.  Grading, and clearing would be undertaken within 50 feet from the delineated freshwater wetland boundary, while the dwelling itself would be located approximately 80 feet from the boundary.  The residence would be served by an on-site septic system which would be located outside the adjacent area.

The applicant proposes to dredge an area of approximately 6000 square feet at the south end of Georgica Pond to a depth of 4' below mean low water.  Approximately 6000 cubic yards of dredged material is proposed to be removed each year.  The purpose of this project is to provide for the periodic removal of sand overwashed into the pond by ocean waves.  The sand will be removed in order to maintain the existing fish and waterfowl habitat in the pond and to allow for periodic flushing between the pond and the Atlantic Ocean.  This flushing affects the  salinities in the pond and allows migratory fish species access to the pond for breeding and grow-out of juveniles. The proposed project is located at Georgica Pond which is south of the intersection of Montauk Highway and Stephen Hands Path in the Town of East Hampton in Suffolk County, SCTM# 300-201-01-01.

The applicant proposes to reconstruct 100 feet of bulkhead within 18" of existing bulkhead, construct 13 feet of new bulkhead to close off an existing boat slip, maintenance dredge an approximate 200 square foot area adjacent to the bulkhead to a depth of 3 feet below mean water and dredge a separate area of approximately 1600 square feet to a depth of 6 feet below mean low water.  One hundred and thirty five cubic yards of dredge material will be placed within the boatslip, resulting in the loss of approximately 468 square feet of tidal wetlands known as littoral zone (SM/LZ).  Fifteen cubic yards of dredge material will be placed behind the bulkhead as backfill. The applicant also proposes to reconstruct an existing boardwalk in place,  remove two existing floats, and construct three 4 foot by 40 foot docks and install two boat lifts.  The project is located at 297 Great River Road, Great River,  Town of Islip, Suffolk County, SCTM# 0500-401-4-9.

The applicant proposes to excavate 12 ft. landward of the existing bulkhead to a maximum depth of 4 ft. below apparent low water.  Resultant 410 cubic yards of excavated material will be trucked off site.  Remove the existing 115 ft. section of bulkhead and reconstruct 12 ft. landward. Remove and replace in the same location 30 linear feet of bulkhead.  The property is located at 990 Koke Drive, Southold, County of Suffolk, on Corey Creek, SCTM No. 1000-87-5-9.

The applicant proposes the subdivision of one approx 7 acre parcel into two lots, Lot 1 will be 4.4 acres and Lot 2 will be 2.6 acres.    A single family home currently exists on Lot 1 and a new single family dwelling with driveway & septic system is proposed for Lot  2 .  The proposed dwelling will be setback 100 linear feet from the NYSDEC Tidal Wetlands Boundary.  The project is located at 5805 Main Bayview Road, Southold. SCTM 1000-78-7-5.3 & 5.4.
