TITLE: Program Policy DER-10 Division of Environmental Remediation Technical Guidance for Site Investigation and Remediation

SUBJECT: Draft Program Policy

COMMENT PERIOD EXTENSION: On December 25, 2002, notice was given in the ENB that the subject guidance document was available for review and comment. A 60-day comment period was established, to close on February 24, 2003. In response to requests that the length of comment period be increased, the Department hereby extends the comment period an additional 60 days until April 25, 2003. Comments should be submitted to Robert W. Schick, P.E., as noted below. All comments received will be considered during preparation of the final document. Notice of the availability of the final policy document will appear in the ENB.

Meeting Notice

Health Research Science Board Committee on Access to Pesticide Registry and Pesticide Application Information

The Health Research Science Board hereby gives notice that a meeting of the Health Research Science Board Committee on Access to Pesticide Registry and Pesticide Application Information will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in Conference Room 4 A/B of the New York State Department of Healthís offices at Flanigan Square, 547 River Street, Troy, New York. The Committee will consider the application for confidential pesticide registry and pesticide application information from the Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

This meeting is open to the public. Members of the public wishing to attend are asked to call Agnes Woitovich (518-402-7511) by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2003.

There will be a video conference link from the New York State Department of Health offices at 5 Penn Plaza, 8th Avenue between West 33rd and West 34th Streets, Manhattan. There is limited seating at this site, and a picture I.D. is required for access. To attend at this site notice must be provided by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 to Agnes Woitovich (518-402-7511). Members of the public who canít be accommodated at this video site will be referred to the Troy meeting site.
