The applicant proposes to try and reduce direct stormwater runoff and sediments entering NYS regulated freshwater wetlands.  The eastern portion of the existing paved parking area will be removed, the area regraded, and concrete curbing and a sedimentation tank installed to catch stormwater runoff and sediments.  The parking area will then be resurfaced.  The project is located in the adjacent area of NYS regulated freshwater wetland A-6, 1159 West Montauk Highway, Copiague, Babylon Town, SCTM #100-193-4-44 & 61.

The applicant proposes: to remove remains of existing deteriorated bulkhead; construct 82 feet on new bulkhead landward of apparent high water; install a four foot wide boardwalk landward of new bulkhead; excavate/dredge approximately 2,472 square foot area of littoral zone/shoals/mud flats/adjacent area (50 cubic yards of dredge spoil and 111 cubic yards of excavated upland) to a depth of four feet below apparent low water; installation of two mooring piles; upland disposal of spoil. The property is located at 39 Bayview Avenue, SCTM#200-983.7-2-7, Blue Point, Brookhaven Town, Suffolk County, Corey's Creek.  

The applicant proposes to excavate a section of the adjacent area of the freshwater wetland designated BE-1.  The purpose is to install a retention basin to capture stormwater runoff from a proposed residential development.  The activity would be conducted on land owned by the Town of Islip on a cleared but unpaved right-of-way otherwise known as Armstrong Avenue.  Written approval from the Town of Islip to allow the developers to do this work has been submitted.  The affected area was cleared at an unknown time in the past.

The applicant proposes to hydraulically dredge 30,000 cubic yards of sand from the nearshore to the west of the northern end of Shinnecock Canal to a maximum depth of 6 ft. below mean low water.  The dredged material will be pumped along the beach on the east side of the Canal and used to restore the eroded beach adjacent to Meschutt Beach County Park.  The dredge area is located west of the northern end of the Shinnecock Canal, and the deposition site is located east of the northern end of Shinnecock Canal at Meschutt Beach, Peconic Beach Road, Hampton Bays, Town of Southampton, County of Suffolk on Great Peconic Bay.   

The applicant proposes to construct a single-family dwelling, porch, public water service, driveway, and conduct clearing, grading and ground disturbance partially within the 100-foot adjacent area of NYS regulated freshwater wetland SO-6.  The project is located on the e/s of Grathwohl Road n/o Wicks Road, New Suffolk, Southold Town, SCTM #1000-110-8-3.
