Project Description:
The applicant proposes to add the following new items to the existing Cayuga Marina, located off of River Road, Aurelius (V): Placement of approximately 885' of rock rip rap, for bank retention, along the inside of the Marina and the shoreline portion of the Marina, on Cayuga Lake. Dock placement in the Marina and on Cayuga Lake. They will be floating units with seven foot wide main sections and three foot wide branches and fingers. This portion of the application will be covered by either the NYS OGS or the NYS Canal Corp. Dredging in the Marina and the Cayuga Lake front will be to maintain a water depth of approximately four feet. Approximately 750 cubic yards from the inside Marina and 2050 cubic yards from the Cayuga Lake side of the Marina will be removed to an upland site. A boat launch of poured concrete or partial pre-fabricated concrete slab in the basin bottom and poured concrete above the mean high water level is also proposed.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
