Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Maine, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed A Local Law of the Town of Maine Amending the Town of Maine Zoning Ordinance(Double Wide Houses in the Rural Residential R-R District and in the Residential District R-1)(hereinafter "Proposed Local Law") will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption by the Town Board of the Town of Maine of the Proposed Local Law. The Proposed Local Law (1) adds a definition of the term "double wide house" (2) amends a portion of the definition of the term "mobile home" so that the term "mobile home" does not include a double wide house, and (3) allows double wide houses as uses permitted by right in the Rural Residential R-R District and in the Residential District R-1. The project is located in the Town of Maine.
