The applicant proposes to operate a Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) Transfer Facility to transfer RMW, which will include the provision of recyclable sharps collection containers to medical establishments, picking them up and transporting them to this proposed facility where they will consolidate the sharps into larger containers and then wash, disinfect and recycle the containers back to the medical community. The collected RMW will be transported to NYS DEC or Pennsylvania permitted facilities for treatment. No treatment of RMW is proposed for this site. Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
