Region 1 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 130047, known as the Manfred F. J. Schulte Site. This site is located in the Town of North Hempstead, in the County of Nassau and is located at 405 Jericho Turnpike. The reason for deletion is:

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Southampton Town Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Farm at Sagaponack Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmentat impact. The action involves the subdivision of two parcels totaling 38.962 acres into 18 residential lots, ranging in size from 40,349 sq. ft. to 55,222 sq. ft. The proposed lots will be clustered inthe northern 19.465 acres oft he site and the remaining 19.497 acres of the site is preserved in a Reserved Area. The project is located north of Montauk Highway (NYS Route 27), west of Wainscott Harbor Road in the Hamlet of Wainscott, Town of Southampton.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Suffolk County - The Riverhead Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Special Permit of the Riverhead Marquee Plaza. The action involves the construction of a multi-screen movie theater and restaurants together with related site improvements on approximately 15 acres of land zoned Industrial A. The project is located on the north side of Old Country Road (CR 58), approximately 1,100 ft. east of Kroemer Avenue, Riverhead.
