Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
expand a permitted 9.25 acre gravel mine by an additional 19.3
acres on a 228.8 acre parcel controlled by the applicant located approximately one mile
west of New York State Route 3 on the north of the Renshaw Bay Road and a private
cottage road. The site is approximately 1800' north of the Jefferson/Oswego County line
and 1000' east of Lake Ontario. Mining would take place in three phases with concurrent
reclamation as each phase area is mined out. The site would be operated by the Town of
Ellisburg Highway Department on an as needed basis and would not be operated as a
commercial gravel mine.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
relocate a timber crib supported 16' x 32' boathouse structure to
a new location near an existing storage building and approximately 40' from its present
location. The building would be elevated over a cattail marsh area on steel pilings. A
dock to the boathouse will be removed. A timber crib dock bayward of the storage
building will be removed and a new dock 48' long x 6' wide on four 6' x 6' timber cribs
will be constructed. In addition, a 53' long x 6' wide dock supported by three 6' x 6' cribs
and one 8' x 6' crib will be constructed to the east of 48' long dock to provide a boat basin
for a private business and personal use. The site is located at the "Ice House Parking
Area" off Prospect Avenue, at T.I. Park, Wellesley Island, St. Lawrence River.

construct a 60' high commercial sign billboard with two
attached 14' high x 48' long pole mounted signs. The billboards would be constructed on
an abandoned railroad grade east of Interstate Route 81, and south of the Price Chopper
Plaza in the City of Watertown. The railroad bed bisects a portion of Regulated
Freshwater Wetland S-4 (Beaver Meadows), an 1146 acre Class II wetland.
