Project Description:
This Department has made
a tentative determination to approve this application for the
discharge of up to 5000 gallons per day of treated sanitary wastewater to Otter Creek
from a proposed replacement septic tank/sand filter system that will serve the Thomson
Mall, a retail mall located in the Town of Alexandria in Jefferson County.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
construct a steel pontoon supported 66' x40' floating skiff
house slide, located 100' bayward of the Town of Orleans sewage treatment plant in
South Bay, T.I. Park and connected by a 100' long x 4' wide floating dock structure
attached at the shoreline to the 16' long x 4' wide laid up limestone retaining wall. The
purpose of the skiffhouse is for yacht club activities and storage of skiffs, kayaks and
canoes, i.e.; non-motorized boat use. In addition, a 220' long x 5' wide pile supported
marsh walk is proposed, that would start at the Corporation boat launch area and
terminate at a proposed picnic area at the former demolition disposal site.
