Project Description:
The applicant proposes mining 10 inches of topsoil on a total of 9.75 acres of land, owned by Phillip Green.  The site is located on the north and south side of Quaker Highlands Road, at the Caulkins Road intersection.  The soil will be tilled, screened, and stockpiled for delivery.  Mining activities are expected to be complete within one year, at which time the site will be reclaimed back to agricultural use.
