excavating upland to create a 15' x 60' boat slip and dredge the boat slip area to -4'
apparent low water; construct 24' angled wave break and remove existing wave break;
construct 276' of parallel boardwalk; and install a boat lift. The property is located on

Project Description:
The applicant requests a
ten year maintenance permit to hydraulically and / or
mechanically dredge an approximate 8,900 square foot area of Mud Creek to a depth of 6
feet below apparent low water. Resultant approximate 1,500 cubic yards of dredged
material will be placed in an existing county owned diked upland area on the western side
of the Bergen Point STP. The proposed dredging is located on the eastern side of Bergen
Avenue adjacent to the Mud Creek pumpout station, West Babylon, Babylon Town,
Suffolk County.

outfalls have been deleted - 002, 005, 015. Outfall 004 has been added. The
facility is
located within an area designated as a sole source aquifer. The Suffolk County Water
