Negative Declaration

Broome County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Schaefer Enterprises of Deposit, LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The applicant proposes to operate a gravel mine on 4.5 acres of land during the permit term, within an 8.5 acre life-of-mine facility on a 171.6 acre parcel of land, including specified processing equipment. The proposed mine is located on County Route 237, .70 mile from the intersection with County Route 28, Town of Sanford.

Oswego County - The Constantia Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Comprehensive Plan identifies issues for the immediate and long-range protection, enhancement and development of the Town. The plan, based in part on a public survey, will help the Town prioritize decisions and investments, secure grant and loan funding, and negotiate with public agencies interested in development projects in Constantia. The project is located in the Town of Constantia.
