Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
excavate approximately 450 cubic yards of accumulated
sediment from a 125 by 75 foot area of Lake George (near the mouth of South Brook), to
achieve a water depth of three feet. A temporary road would extend approximately 100
feet into the lake for equipment access (to be removed upon project completion).
Excavated material would be disposed upland on the west side of NYS Route 9N, 1000
feet from the work site. The project is located at Snug Harbor Cottages, east side of
Route 9N, Sabbath Day Point, Town of Hague.
