Project Description:
The Applicant proposes to
install three new wells (Numbers 10, 11, and 12), a water
treatment plant and a pumping station on a parcel located on Prince Avenue north of
Longbeach Avenue in the Incorporated Village of Freeport. The wells would each have a
maximum capacity of 1,500 gallons per minute, be approximately 555 feet deep, and
draw water from the Magothy Aquifer.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
modify the application listed above. The total amount of
authorized waste to be received and processed at the Oceanside Transfer Facility will
remain the same at 1,800 tons per day, however, specific wastes shall be limited to 950
tons per day of municipal solid waste, 800 tons per day of yard waste and 50 tons per day
of white metal goods. At no time will the facility stockpile more than 2,500 tons of
waste. Changes are also proposed in the operating hours of the facility. New
hours will
be from 7:00am to 5:00pm seven days a week. Cleaning and maintenance activities may
continue until 8:00 pm.

Project Description:
The Applicant proposes to
install a well to irrigate a sportsfield and landscaping
associated with a public school. The well would be drilled to a depth of approximately
180 feet and draw approximately 500 gallons per minute from the Upper Glacial Aquifer.
The proposed well would draw water over a limited time period (approximately 26
weeks) corresponding to the local growing season. Over this time frame it would be used
seven days a week and approximately five hours a day. The project is related to the
construction of a secondary school. The area to be irrigated would encompass
approximately 36 acres.
