Region 9 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 915173 known as the Marcon Erectors Site. This site is located in the City of Buffalo, in the County of Erie, and is located at 1 Howell Street. The reason for deletion is:

Negative Declaration

Chautauqua County - The Lakewood Village Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wal-Mart Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the demolition of approximately 21,300 sq. ft. of commercial floor space, and expanding the existing Wal-Mart Store to the east by approximately 77,634 sq. ft. Additionally, the existing parking lot and loading areas will be modified to accomodate the change. Approximately .25 acres of Federal Wetlands will be filled and be mitigated through the construction of approximately .75 acres of new wetlands. The project is located at 350 E. Fairmont Avenue, Village of Lakewood.
