The project is located on NW/C NYS Route 25A and Patchogue Drive, Rocky Point, Town of Brookhaven. Notice is hereby given that the Town of Brookhaven Planning Board will hold a public hearing in the Town Board Meeting Room, 3233 Route 112, Medford, New York on Monday, November 4, 2002 at 10:30 a.m..

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Brookhaven, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bove Estates may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves division of 9.38 acres into eight lots with road and drainage. The project is located at E/S Church Lane 1080' N/O Middle Country Road, Middle Island, New York.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft Supplemental Generic EIS And Public Hearing

Nassau County - The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Manorhaven, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement. A public hearing on the Draft Supplemental Generic EIS will be held on November 20, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall, Incorporated Village of Manorhaven, 33 Manorhaven Boulevard, Port Washington, New York. Written comments on the Draft Supplemental Generic EIS will be accepted by the contact person until 4:30 p.m. on December 13, 2002. The action involves Village of Manorhaven proposing to amend its Local Waterfront Revitalization Program to reflect various modifications including: elimination of the previously-proposed Planned Unit Development zoning district; modifications to the Marine Recreation and Marine Preservation Zones to include zoning for underwater lands; retention of the I-3 zone in the North Sheets Creek industrial area which was previously proposed to be abolished; expansion of the C-4 concept to an Enterprise Zone; the placement of an area on Manhasset Isle, adjacent to Sintsink Drive East, into the proposed new Enterprise Zone; modifications to reflect the transfer of the southern portion of Lot 778 from Nassau County to upland owners and the lease of the eastern portion of Lot 778 to the Town of North Hempstead; and minor modifications to grammar and language.
