Negative Declaration

Seneca County - The Town Board of the Town of Waterloo, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NYS Routes 5 and 20 Sewer District Extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of sewer lines along NYS Routes 5 & 20 and providing services in connection with said sewer lines. The project is located at New York State Routes 5 & 20, Town of Waterloo, County of Seneca, State of New York.

Steuben County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Town Board of the Town of West Union, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hamlet of Resville Water System DWSRF Project # 17186 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The formation of a water district and installation of a community water system consisting of approximately 4,300 linear feet of water main, wells, well pumps, well house, hydropneumatic tank and service connections. The project is located at the intersection of State Route 248 and County Road 117, Hamlet of Rexville, Town of West Union, Steuben County.

Wayne County - Wayne County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed modification of the Wayne County campus facilities located at NYS Route 31 in the Town of Lyons will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of the new 192 bed Skilled Nursing Home and associated parking; possible conversion of existing nursing home facility to office space; possible demolition of the existing ICF Building; possible construction of additional program and booking area for the County Jail; and a possible relocation of a communication tower.

Notice Of Acceptance of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Ontario County - The Board of Supervisors of Ontario County, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Ontario County Phase lll Sanitary Landfill Expansion. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on November 21, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Seneca Town Hall, 3675 Flint Road, Stanley, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until 4:00 p.m. on December 2, 2002. the action involves:

LAND ACQUISITION: 8.07 ACRES

LANDFILL EXPANSION: WITHIN EXISTING LAND FILL FOOTPRINT AND THE LAND ACQUISITION AREA FOR A NOT TO EXCEED ADDITIONAL FIVE (5) MILLION CUBIC YARDS

MASTER PLAN PREPARATION: PREPARATION OF A FULL BUILD MASTER PLAN FOR COUNTY LANDS AT THE LANDFILL SITE THAT WILL NOT BE INCORPORATED IN THE LANDFILL EXPANSION
