remove and replace in the same location and 16" higher 140
linear feet of bulkhead with an 8 ft. north return end and a 10 ft. south return. The south
return will be constructed in vegetated tidal wetlands. Backfill with 100 cubic yards of
upland sand. Dredge 10 ft. seaward of the new bulkhead to a maximum depth of 4 ft.
below mean low water with resultant 25 cubic yards of dredged material to be used as
backfill. Install a 4 ft. x 140 ft. capping boardwalk. The property is located at 18A
Shinnecock Road, Hampton Bays, Town of Southampton, County of Suffolk on Penny
Pond.
