Project Description:
The applicant, with technical
assistance from the Genesee County Soil and Water
Conservation Service, proposes to construct a pond of approximately one acre in size in
the adjacent area of regulated NYS DEC Freshwater Wetland BY-10 (Class II). A low
berm will be constructed to prevent agricultural drainage flows from entering the pond.
Most excess spoil will be used to create an upland berm along North Bergen Road, and
the remaining spread in upland areas. Application materials are available for public
review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Headquarters.
