Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
construct a forest road through Freshwater Wetland RS-1, a
class l, 820 acre wetland. The road way will cross 222 feet of wetland and require
approximately 1,480 cubic yards of fill to be placed directly in the wetland. The project
will also require crossing a class C tributary of Weaver Lake. No mitigation is proposed at
this time. The project is located .2 of a mile south of County Route 183, and 1.36 miles
east of intersection of Route 183 with State Route 167 in Cullen, Town of Warren,
Herkimer County.

Project Description:
The Village of Camden proposes
to operate a sand & gravel mining operation on a 50.9
acre parcel under their ownership. The proposal is to affect 2.84 acres of a 12.39 acre life
of mine boundary during a 5-year permit term. No processing of mined materials will
occur at the site. The project is located .4 miles north of NYS Rt. 69 and approximately
900 feet west of town line in the Town of Camden, Oneida County.

Project Description:
The Department has made
a tentative determination to approve an application for
modification of an existing SPDES permit (No. NY0120685) to discharge additional
treated sanitary wastewater (design flow of 3680 GPD) to the St. Lawrence River. The
permit has been modified to add a second surface water outfall from a proposed
replacement septic tank/sand filter sanitary treatment system with disinfection from an
existing 46 unit motel @ the Quality Inn Gran View located on NYS Route 37 in the
Town of Oswegatchie, St. Lawrence County. The applicant proposes to excavate and fill
in the navigable waters of the St. lawrence River to install a 4 inch diameter PVC pipe as
the outfall for the sanitary wastewater treatment system. A draft permit and application
are available for review and comment at the Region 6 Watertown office.
