Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
begin the extraction of sand and gravel from 15 acres of a 134
acre parcel. The site is located in Saratoga County Agricultural District 6. The project is
projected to be 5 to 10 years in duration and there is an estimated 400,000 tons of sand
and gravel. The material will be excavated by rubber tired loaders and placed directly into
dump trucks for direct removal or it will be transported to a power screen located in the
proposed processing area. The reclamation objective is to return the land to agriculture. A
copy of the application may be reviewed at the Warrensburg DEC office during normal

convert its drinking water source from an existing surface
water system to a groundwater system, to comply with clean water regulations. The
project includes installation of a new pump house and three groundwater wells, taking up

Project Description:
Proposed bank stabilization
along 280 linear feet of Hague Brook (class AA special),
including replacement of a 100 foot long deteriorated concrete wall, and 180 feet of rock
riprap. Live willow stakes will be placed in the riprap to improve aesthetics and fish
habitat. Trees and shrubs will also be planted at the top of the riprap. The project is
located near the outlet of Hague Brook to Lake George, east of NYS Route 9N, hamlet of
Hague.
