Region 8 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 837011, known as the Leastman Landfill Site. This site is located in the Town of Murray, County of Orleans, and is located at West Kendall Road. The reason for deletion is:

Ontario County - The Canandaigua Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Stablegate subdivision 110-Lot Single Family Residential Cluster Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of a 110-acre site into a 110-lot single-family residential development per the clustering provisions provided under Town Law Section 278, as well as, construction and dedication of the subdivision road and right-of-way, new watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer system. The project is located on the south side of Canandaigua-Farmington Townline Road, approximately 2000-feet west of the New York State Route 332 intersection, Tax Account Numbers 0.55.00-01-4.8, -10.2, -001, Town of Canandaigua – Ontario County, New York.

Wayne County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wayne County - Mills Gravel Pit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a minor addition of 3.96 acres to an existing sand and gravel mine operated by the Wayne County Highway Department for road construction materials. Mining operations will continue as previously permitted over the increased life of mine area totaling 9.64 acres. This project is a SEQR Type 1 action due to the expansion affecting more than 2.5 acres in an Agricultural District. After mining ceases, the site will be reclaimed for agricultural use. The mine site is on the south side of Lummisville Road, approximately 0.8 miles west of the Village of Wolcott, in the Town of Huron, Wayne County.
