Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
repair a 100' breach in an existing 5.5' high 950' long earthen
dike constructed for wildlife habitat to restore hydrology in support of waterfowl nesting
and fish spawning. The site is locate done mile east of Goose Bay, St. Lawrence River
and is in the Crooked Creek watershed. The work is in cooperation with the U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service, under their Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program.
