Project Description:
The proposed activity involves
the extraction of an average of 3,000 cubic yards of sand
per year, over a total life of mine area of 8.43 acres. The site, part of an 18.7 acre parcel
owned by the Town of Au Sable, is located on the north side of Dry Bridge Road, 3000
feet east of the Black Brook town line. Mining will occur during the months of
September through November, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and the
material will be screened and stock-piled onsite, to be used by the Town for winter road
maintenance. Concurrent reclamation will consist of regrading the slopes and applying
lime, fertilizer, and seed to stabilize the area and allow natural revegetation and
reforestation to occur. A permit is also required from the Adirondack Park Agency, APA
#2002-28.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to
clear two existing 250 foot long drainage ditches, adjacent to a
regulated freshwater wetland. All fill will be placed on the existing lawn and driveway
area. The applicant also proposes to construct a one half mile long trail through the
wetland, by clearing vegetation and adding log courduroy or pressure treated timber,
where needed. The property is owned by Anthony Buttaro, and is located on the east
side of Campbell Road, approximately one half mile south of Gagnier Road intersection.

gain access to an existing pond in order to remove sediment
and repair a water supply pipe. A proposed gravel road will provide access to the pond

of Freshwater Wetland #M-71 (class I). The site is located north of Old Mill Road, 0.4

Project Description:
The applicant is proposing
to replace deteriorated culverts and storm drainage system
along Route 86 (River Street) and Route 3. The proposal includes 639' of shoreline
stabilization along Lake Flower, to be accomplished by placing a .6 meter minimum size
rock, with a total of 236 cubic yards of rock below MHWL . This proposal also includes
construction of two12' x 8' wood overlook platforms along the shoreline of Lake Flower.
The project is located along
NYS Routes 3 and 86 (River Street) and along the northeast
shoreline of Lake Flower in the Village of Saranac Lake.
