The applicant is proposing to move an existing rock jetty and create a 100' x 20' x 10' jetty at the southern edge of their property. They are also proposing to clear any remaining rocks from the beach area and place any extra rocks along 77 feet of shoreline for stabilization.

Project Description:
Complete construction of a driveway 12 feet wide by 800 feet long, 800 feet of which is across wetland C-37 (Class II) or its 100 foot adjacent area.  Driveway completion calls for installation of two 20 foot long culverts (one 18" and one 36" in diameter), with stone placed around the ends of both culverts.  One culvert will be in a tributary of Putnam Creek. The driveway is for access to the rear portion of the applicant's property.
The project is located on the east side of Locust Grove Road, south of County Route 36.

Project Description:
The applicant is proposing to mine sand and gravel form 5 acres of a 42.4 acre property.
This activity has taken place at this location in past years with a total area affected of less than .1 acre to date. The mining will be conducted at a level of intensity that will exceed the specific threshold (more than 1000 tons per year) requiring a permit. Mining would be conducted in 1 phase; the duration of the project will be approximately 3 year years. A tracked excavator will be used to extract sand and gravel. The excavated material will processed by a power screen and transported to various sites depending on market demand. The reclamation objective is to create a site to be developed by the Cossayuna Volunteer Fire Department for a fire station.
