Negative Declaration

Chautauqua County - The Town of Portland, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Portland Water District No. 5 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the creation of Water District No. 5 and the construction of watermain including hydrants, valves and related appurtenances within highway right-of-ways along portions of Lake and Central Avenue, Martin, Mathews, Onthank. Dahlberg and South Swede Roads, Pecor Street and Route 5. Similar to other districts within the Town of Portland, Water District No. 5 will be supplied water from the Village of Brocton. Approximately 29, 350 gallons per day will be consumed by the proposed district.

Erie County - The Town of Lancaster, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brown, Chiari, Capizzi, and Friascogna Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a new 5,169 sq. ft. brick and wood frame office building on a parcel involves approximately 4.96 acres. The project is located on the south side of Broadway, east of Parkdale Drive and west of Bowen Road in the Town of Lancaster.
