Project Description: The
Dunmore Corporation maintains a film coating operation in the Town of Southeast
Putnam County, New York. The plant is generally bounded by US
Route #6 on the north, Interstate
84 on the south, industrial zoned property on the west
and residential property on the east. The Dunmore Corporation is on approximately five
and one half (5 1/2) acres. At the Brewster facility, Dunmore employs approximately
sixty (60) people.
The
facility is involved in applying plastic film for various products, The facility is
heated by an exempt boiler burning natural gas.
Dunmore
has capped the potential to emit for VOC and HAP emissions to below Title
V thresholds and is subject to 6NYCRR 228.
By
acceptance of this permit, the permittee agrees that the permit is contingent upon
strict compliance with the ECL, all applicable regulations, the General Conditions
specified and any Special Conditions included as part of this permit.

Project Description: The applicant proposes to
install a well within State-designated Freshwater Wetland CD-31 (Class III) for a private residence
to be constructed on an approved lot located on the
south side of Timber Court, about 650 feet west of the intersection of Timber Court and
Cotter Road. The proposed well extends approximately 30 feet into the wetland. Well
drilling spoils will be discharged into a hay bale containment area. Upon completion of
the well the containment area will be cleaned and the well access clearing will be seeded
and mulched. A twenty-five foot grading radius from the southeasterly corner of the
proposed dwelling will impact approximately 1000 square feet of wetland adjacent area
to accommodate construction activities. The house, driveway, and the septic system will
be located outside of the wetland and the 100-foot adjacent area elsewhere on the
property.
