Positive Declaration

Suffolk County - The Village of Quogue Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed George Mathys Major Subdivision may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the subdivision of a 19.97 acre parcel of land into 14 lots for future industrial development, retaining several existing buildings on one lot. Construction of a new road. The project is located on the south side of Old Country Road, north easterly side of Midhampton Avenue, northwesterly side of LIRR R.O.W., southwest side of boundary with the Town of Southampton and Village of Quogue.

Positive Declaration and Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bayberry Property Mixed-Use Planned Development District may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared and accepted. The action involves a change-of-zone application received by the Town of Southampton Town Board to rezone four separate parcels identified as SCTM No.'s 900-127-1-1; 900-127-1-2; 900-127-1-4 and 900-127-1-3, comprising approximately 298 acres, from R-120 Residential to Multiple Use Planned Development District (MUPDD) pursuant to Section 330-240 of the Town Code. The application proposes to rezone said parcels to permit the construction of a golf course, a club house and practice area, maintenance buildings, fifteen (15) cottages, a building for employee housing, and a dwelling for a caretaker. The project is generally bounded on the northeast by the National Golf Links, on the southwest by Cold Spring Pond, onthe southeast by Sebonac Road and on the northwest by Peconic Bay, Town of Southampton.
