Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Webster, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Webster Sandbar Sewer & Water Main Extension Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of sanitary sewers to the Webster Sandbar area along Lake Road and the replacement of a 6 cast iron water main with a new 8 ductile iron water main. Sewer service will be provided by the installation of two (2) pump stations and approximately 5600 LF of force main to pump the collected sewage in Webster under the Irondequoit Bay Outlet to an interceptor sewer in The Town Of Irondequoit. The project islocated on Lake Road from addresses #7 to #435, Vosberg Road, Sunhill Lane, Hollywood Lane, Del Rio Court and Bay Road from # 510 to #613 in the Town of Webster.

Monroe County - The Town of Mendon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Penn Property Land Acquisition will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action proposes to acquire by simple fee title the land located north of 4671 State Route 65 (Clover Street) for the purpose of developing the Great Bend Park Site. The action under consideration is the purchase of land which is located adjacent to the Monroe County owned Lehigh Valley Trail and the Totiakton Indian Site.

Orleans County - The Town of Gaines, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Gaines Water District No. 6 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the construction of 13,000 linear feet of 8 inch watermain along portions of the Albion-Eagle Harbor Road and Gaines Basin Road. Water is to be supplied by the Village of Albion. The project will provide public water to approximately 16 properties which are currently dependent on an inadequate supply of poor quality water. The project is being carried out as a joint project between the Towns of Gaines and Albion as the Albion-Eagle Harbor Road is the boundary between the two communities. The project is located on portions of Albion-Eagle Harbor Road and Gaines Basin Road, Town of Gaines.

The project is being carried out as a joint project between the Towns of Albion and Gaines as the Albion-Eagle Harbor Road is the boundary between the two communities. The project is located on portions of of Albion-Eagle Harbor, Gaines Basin and Eagle Harbor-West Barre Roads, Town of Albion.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Monroe County - The Board of Education, Pittsford Central School District, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed 2002 Facilities Plan. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on August 8, 2002 and August 12, 2002 at 7:00 pm at the Thornell Road Elementary School Auditorium, 431 Thornell Road, Pittsford, NY 14534. The public comment periods ends at 4:30 pm on August 26, 2002. The proposed action would involve the following components: 1) Infrastructure: Do needed infrastructure work at Allen Creek, Jefferson Road, Park Road, Thornell Road, Mendon Center Elementary, Mendon High School, Sutherland High School and Pittsford Middle School. 2) Elementary: Add needed space, renovate and complete proposed safety modifications at Allen Creek, Jefferson Road, Park Road, Thornell Road and Mendon Center Elementary schools. 3) Middle School: Construct a new middle school on Monroe Avenue in conjunction with a potential new Town library and community center. 4) High School: Add needed space, do renovations and proposed safety modifications at Mendon High School and Sutherland High School. 5) Recreation and Athletic Areas: Add two additional fields at Pittsford Middle School, two additional fields at Mendon Center Elementary School, additional fields on the Monroe Avenue site. Work with the Town of Pittsford to provide additional fields at Calkins/Willard Road property. 6) Support Services: Move District support services to Pittsford Middle School. Eliminate all rental space. Expand transportation facilities and combine maintenance with transportation at the current transportation facility at Mendon Center Elementary School. The proposed action involves work at several locations within the Pittsford Central School District.
