Project Title: Land of the Oneidas Council, Inc. of Boy Scouts of America

Project Description: Land of the Oneidas Council, Inc. of Boy Scouts of America proposes a seven-lot subdivision as follows: a) convey Lot 1, a 60± acre lot with 650± feet of shoreline on Long Lake to be improved by a single family dwelling, guest cottage/garage, boathouse and on-site wastewater treatment and water supply facilities, b) convey four non-building lots (Lots 2 through 5) , ranging in size from 50± to 200± acres to adjoining landowners, c) Lot 6, a 1±acre lot will be retained and continue to be used as a canoe/boat launch site, and d) Lot 7, the remaining 4,100± acre lot will be retained with the existing Cedarlands Boy Scout group camp located on it. Other than the proposed single family on Lot 1, no new land use or development is proposed on any of the proposed lots. All lots will be subject to a conservation easement to be conveyed to New York State.

Project Title: Warren County Department of Public Works (i.e., Warren County Railroad)

Location: Towns of Corinth & Hadley, Saratoga County and the Towns of Stony Creek, Thurman & Johnsburg, Warren County

Project Description: The project involves the rehabilitation of 40 miles of the former D&H Railroad, now owned by Warren County from the Antonne Mountain Road in the Town of Corinth Saratoga County north to North Creek in the Town of Johnsburg Warren County. The work will include vegetation removal and control measures, track repairs, bridge/culvert repairs and improvements, and grade/road crossing improvements. The vegetation removal and control process involves two steps: first the existing vegetation which has grown up will be physically removed by cutting and second, an herbicide application will be applied to prevent the vegetation from returning. track repairs will include ballast work, tie replacement, track surfacing and joint rehabilitation. Bridge/culvert improvements will involve minor structural repairs to piers and abutments at six locations. The grade/road crossing improvements will include the installation of new highway crossing surfaces and warning devices with active warning devices for public crossings and passive devices for private crossings.

Negative Declaration

Essex County - The Village of Port Henry, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program for the area within the waterfront area boundary of the Village of Port Henry. The project is located in the Village of Port Henry.

Essex County - The Town of Ticonderoga Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Baldwin Road S.D. No. 8 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action proposes to provide Municipal Wastewater Collection Service to 41 residential units through the construction of 1,400 l.f. of 4 inch. force main, one pumping station, 1,900 l.f. of 8 inch gravity sewer, 14 individual grinder pumps, 1,500 l.f. of small diameter force main, five manholes and restoration. The project is located on Baldwin Road between Succor Brook and Steamboat Landing, Town of Ticonderoga.
