Project Description: The past acquisition
and continued operation by the Town of Putnam Valley Glenmar
Gardens Water District, of the existing private water supply system (previously approved
under WSA # 6134 to the Glenmar Gardens Properties Owners Association) and for the
Town Water District to develop two additional wells, identified as Wells #3 and #4 having
tested capacities of 15 and 25 gallons per minute (gpm) respectively. The District's
water supply sources would include a total of four wells (wells #1 and #2 previously
approved) and new wells #3 & #4, and would continue to provide an average of 9,500
gallons per day to the 25 existing residences. The wells are located at the end of Doe
Road off Oscawana Lake Road, in the Town of Putnam Valley, in Putnam County, NY.

hydraulically dredge approximately 30,000 cubic yards of sand,
silt and sediment from the New Rochelle Municipal Marina located in the Ferris
Creek/Echo Bay section of the Long Island Sound. The sediment is proposed to be
dewatered by using vacuum belt presses following which it will be trucked to one or more
disposal sites in the States of New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania. The purpose of the
project is to achieve a finished maximum grade of minus 8 feet below mean low water in
order to facilitate continued Marina uses.
