Project Description:
The applicant proposes to work at two sites for erosion control, along Dutch Hollow Brook, at property owned by Mr. Rowe: Site# 1 is about 275' in length and will have rip rap placed along it.  Site# 2 is located south of Site# 1 and is about 225' in length and will also have rip rap along it.  Location: Between Cream Hollow and Split Rock Roads off of Route 38A, Niles (T), Cayuga County.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: Cayuga County Soil and Water Cons District
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
Coastal Management: This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment: Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Aug 2 2002.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to stabilize the bank of Dutch Hollow Creek with rip rap approximately 17' on the east bank  below the culvert leading under Burdock Road, and 12' on the west bank.  Also, further down stream, at the next meander, 100' of Filter Sox will be placed to stabilize the bank.  Location:  Burdock Road, just east of Route 38A, Niles (T), Cayuga County.
