Project Description: The applicant proposes to
replace an existing bridge with a new arch culvert with
headwalls and wingwalls, remove deposited sediments from within the stream channel,
and construct a retaining wall for stream bank stabilization along 180 linear feet of the
southern embankment of the Nauraushaun Brook, Class A(t). The project is being
undertaken to correct structural deficiencies of the bridge and to correct existing erosion.
The project is located on Sickletown Road at the intersection with Blauvelt Road in the
Town of Orangetown, Rockland County.
