Negative Declaration

Cayuga County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed DEC Freshwater Wetland Permit for Duck Lake Association Herbicide Application to Control Milfoil will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the application of Navigate, an aquatic herbicide, to control Eurasian Milfoil, on up to, approximately 54 acres, out of a total of 220 acres on Duck Lake. A DEC Pesticide Permit has been obtained for its use. The project location is Duck Lake, Conquest, Cayuga County.

Positive Declaration And Public Scoping

Tioga County - The Tioga County Board Legislation has been confirmed as lead agency for the construction of a new county office complex in downtown Owego. The Board has issued a Positive Declaration with draft scope and will conduct a scoping meeting. The lead agency has determined that the proposed may have a significant adverse impact on the environmental and a Draft environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments will be accepted until July 28, 2002. A public scoping session will be held on July 18, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at the County office Building at 56 Main Street in the Village of Owego. The action involves the following:
