Project Title: Jo Ann Smith & Robert L. Smith, Jr.

Location: Garnet Lake Road, Town of Johnsburg, Warren County

Comment Period Ends: July 25, 2002

Project Description: The project involves after-the-fact approval of a 6.54 acre lot, placement of a mobile home thereon and the construction of a garage on the lot. The project also involves a new commercial use (i.e., powder coating) in the existing garage. The new commercial use involves the spraying of metal items (e.g., bicycles, wheels, etc.) with a colored powder and baking them in a oven. The new commercial use will be known as "The Powder Works" and will operate Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. One 3 ft. x 5 ft. wood sign is proposed to be located on the front of the garage. Shipments and deliveries will typically be by the owner or by UPS. The project also involves the transfer of a "principal building right" from adjoining lands because the new commercial use in the garage makes it a second "principal building" on the project site.
