Ulster County - This action involves the cutting of trees at Belleayre Mountain Ski Area to improve public safety and recreational use of the downhill skiing facility. This is to provide notice that a total of 848 trees over 3" in diameter will be removed to accomplish these projects as required by Commissionerís Delegation Memorandum # 84-06. The Expressway will be extended to connect Dot Nebel, the SkiWee teaching area will be enlarged, the base of Lift #6 Super Chief will be expanded to allow for loading on both sides and a new trail, Onondaga, will be created from the top of Lift #6 to mid-station. An amendment to Article XIV of the New York State Constitution allows for construction and maintenance of 25 miles of ski trails, with 2 miles of trail up to 200' wide on Belleayre Mountain which is part of the Catskill Forest Preserve. Belleayre Mountain will still be well within the constitutional limits afforded for widths and total length of ski trails upon completion of these projects. These projects are included in the approved 1998 revision and amendments to the Unit Management Plan for the ski center. There are no known rare, threatened or endangered plant species located in or bordering the disturbed area. Following tree cutting and stump removal, the trail will be seeded and mulched.

|Notice of Continuation of Public Hearing and Extension of Comment Period|
Dutchess County - The Town Board of the Town of East Fishkill, as lead agency, will continue the joint public hearing, which commenced on May 23, 2002 on its proposed new Comprehensive Plan, 14 proposed Local Laws which implement the Master Plan, and the DGEIS that evaluates the Plan and the Laws, on Thursday, July 25, 2002, at 7:00 pm at the John Jay High School, Route 52, Hopewell Junction New York. Written comments on the DGEIS will be accepted until Tuesday, August 13, 2002. Notice of Completion of the DGEIS, and a summary of the Comprehensive Plan and local laws appeared in the May 8, 2002 issue of the ENB. |Public Scoping Session|
Westchester County - The Village of Sleepy Hollow Planning Board, as lead agency, will hold a public scoping session on the proposed Wireless Communication Facility Locational Plan for the Village of Sleepy Hollow. The public scoping session will be held on July 18, 2002 at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow. The comment period will be open until September 9, 2002.

|Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing|
Westchester County - The Village of Tarrytown Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Jardim Estates Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on August 26, 2002 at 8:00 pm at the Village Hall, 21 Wildey Street, Tarrytown, NY 10591. The proposed action is subdivision of a 34-acre property into 17 single-family residential lots, including lots for two existing residences. The project is located at 548 South Broadway (Route 9), south of Sheldon Avenue, Lake View Drive, and Croton Park Avenue, Village of Tarrytown.

|Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS|
Westchester County - The White Plains Common Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed New York Presbyterian Hospital, Royal Charter Properties Westchester, Inc. The Proposed Action involves the construction of two 192,000 square foot medical use buildings with a total of 865 new parking spaces on a currently undeveloped portion of the Hospital Property and associated storm water drainage, utility and internal roadway improvements. The Project Site involves approximately 13 acres of the overall 214 acre Hospital property. The New York Presbyterian Hospital property, 21 Bloomingdale Road, White Plains, New York, is generally bounded by Bloomingdale Road, Mamaroneck Avenue, Bryant Avenue and North Street (N. Y. State Route 127), White Plains, Westchester County. The Project Site is located in the southern portion of the Hospital Property near Bryant Avenue, White Plains.
