Public Notice is hereby given to provide written comments to the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Huntington on the Draft DEIS Scope, a full copy of which is available at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Huntington, 100 Main Street, Huntington, New York, and the Town of Huntington's website at town.huntington.ny.us in the online library section. Written public comments must be received in the office of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Town of Huntington, 100 Main Street, Huntington, New York 11743 on or before July 31, 2002.
The draft scope is pursuant to SEQRA regulations and relates to the application by Five Towns College for a special use permit to construct and operate four (4) dormitory buildings on its campus located at 305 North Service Road (SCTM#0400-261.00-03.00-001.002). A copy of the application may be viewed or obtained at the Office of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Suffolk County - The Town of Southold Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dayton Farms may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the subdivision of a 13.44 acre parcel into 4 single family residential lots. The project is located on the Hog Neck peninsula in Southold.

|Notice of Acceptance of Draft Supplemental EIS and Public Hearing|
Nassau County - The Town of Oyster Bay Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Estates at Jericho. A public hearing on the Draft Supplemental EIS will be held on July 17, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay. The action involves the construction of 260 one-family dwellings on an 81.12 acre parcel, currently known as the "Underhill Estate". The project is located on the north side of Jericho Turnpike (NY State Route 25), west of NY State Route 106-107, Jericho.
