Project Description: The
applicant proposes to develop two residential lots by constructing two separate
12-foot wide driveways and installing two separate 4-inch diameter sewer lines both
within the 100-foot wide adjacent area of Freshwater Wetlands #WF-2 (Class III) and
#WF-3 (Class II) for a total disturbance of 0.38 acres of adjacent area only. There will be
no disturbance of either wetland. The two residential lots are on 4.3 acres of land located
between Myers Corners Road and Pattie Place, in the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County.

Project Description: The
Callahan & Nannini Shale facility is located in the Town of Blooming Grove,
Orange County, New York. This existing facility is engaged in mining and quarrying of
nonmetallic minerals Standard Industrial Classification 1429-crushed and broken stone.
The
facility consists of a cedar rapids model 3042 rock crusher and caterpillar model
3508 electric generators. The rock crusher will be operated at 150 tons per hour. The
generator set is fired by No.2 fuel oil and provides electric to the rock crusher operation.
Facility
emissions are limited below major stationary source thresholds. Specifically,
Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) emissions are capped below 25 tons per year by limiting
generator fuel consumption to less than 72,000 gallons annually. Fuel consumption will
be monitored monthly utilizing permit condition under 6NYCRR Part 201-6.
The
facility is subject to New Source Performance Standard 40CFR Part 60 Subpart
000 Standards of Performance for Nonmetallic Mineral processing Plants, 6NYCRR Part
225, and 6NYCRR Part 227 227.
