The applicant proposes to dredge a 30 foot by 40 foot area of the Newbridge River adjacent to their property to a depth of 4 feet below apparent low water with resultant 50 cubic yards of dredged material to be removed to an approved upland location.  Install a 4-pile boat lift adjacent to the existing floating dock within the proposed dredge area. The project is located at 2270 Arthur Street, Merrick, Hempstead Town, Nassau County.

Applicant proposes to demolish an existing boardwalk and regradeand  revegetate surrounding dune areas (14,500 sf) by placement of 1800 cubic yards of clean sand.  Two areas will be planted with 6 rows of Rosa Virginnia  and a larger area will be restored with American Beach Grass planted in staggard rows with American Beach Grass .  The property is located on the Atlantic Ocean south of Emerson Avenue, Montauk, Town of East Hampton (SCTM# 0300-047-03-9/10/ll/l.
