Negative Declaration

Columbia County - The Columbia County Board of Supervisors, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Columbia County Courthouse Jail Asbestos Abatement, Demolition and Foyer Construction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves asbestos abatement and subsequent demolition of a vacant old jail building (wing of Columbia County Courthouse). Work is being performed to allow for construction of handicap accessible facilities at a later date. The goal of the project is to make the Columbia County Courthouse compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project is located at 401 Union Street, Hudson, New York.

Rensselaer County - The Hoosic Valley Central School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hoosic Valley Central School Expansion/Renovation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves approximately 80,000 square foot expansion and renovation of the existing Hoosic Valley High School. The project will include additional parking and the relocation of various athletic fields. The project is located at 2 Pleasant Avenue, Schaghticoke, New York.

Reaffirmation of Negative Declaration

Broome and Delaware Counties - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Village of Deposit, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Deposit Water System Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves new groundwater source, new transmission, new storage and upgrade of distribution system. The project is located in the Village of Deposit, Broome and Delaware Counties.
