Project Description: The Department has made
a tentative decision to approve a modified permit for a
secondary containment area with a discharge to an existing storm water sewer system
with an outfall to the Hudson River - a class "C" stream. The applicant proposes to add
fuel oil, diisobutylene (lighter fluid) and magnesium chloride (de-icer) to the materials
now transferred from railcar to truck at this liquid transfer facility.The facility is located
at 43 - 49 Erie Boulevard in the City of Albany. A draft permit is available for review and
comment at the Region 4 office.

Project Description: The applicant proposes to
conduct repairs to the Camp Harriman Dam which include
replacement of the south training wall of the auxiliary spillway and of the main spillway,
replacement of both retaining walls on the main spillway, and repairs to cracks on concrete
surfaces. Additional work will include regrading of slope failures, rip rap installation on
eroded sections, construction of concrete walk along dam and expansion of emergency
spillway. To facilitate repair work, a temporary stream crossing of the East Kill and an
access road will be installed downstream of the dam. The project is located on Colgate
Road (CR 78) at Lake Capra.

a 69 kv power transmission line 15 miles long, from
