Erie County - The Environmental Quality Review Committee of the State University of New York and The State University Construction Fund, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ketter Hall Addition at the State University of New York at Buffalo, North Campus will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves construction of 12,000 s.f. addition to Ketter Hall for earthquake research lab, plus associated sitework and renovations to existing building. The project is located on the North Campus, State University of New York at Buffalo.

Erie County - The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Amherst, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Telecommunication Facility - 1300 Hopkins Road (Margaret Louise Park); Crown Atlantic Company will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project proposes to place three new low-profile antenna arrays on the existing 150 foot tall monopole, one each for Cricket Communications, Voicestream Wireless and Devon Communications. The site is within the town-owned Margaret Louise Park and adjacent to a NYS-designated wetland. Review by the NYSDEC and the US Army Corps of Engineers has been completed; both agencies have determined that the proposed facility will not have an adverse impact on wetland areas. The project is located 1300 Hopkins Road, Amherst.

Erie County - The Town Board of the Town of Amherst, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning of 1.0± acre from Suburban-Agriculture (SA) to Office Building (OB) district; property located at 9736 Transit Road (Z-1-02) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the conversion of an existing 660 sq. ft. frame house to office use and construction of a 1,200 sq. ft. addition to create an 1,800± sq. ft. office building for a single tenant. Proposed parking lot for 12± spaces will be accessed by the existing curb cut on Transit Road. The project is a Type I action due to its location adjacent to Ransom Creek. The project is located at 9736 Transit Road, in Amherst.

|Notice of Acceptance of Supplemental EIS|
Erie County - The Town of Grand Island, as lead agency, has accepted a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the Woods Creek Center. Comments on the SEIS will be accepted until July 26, 2002. The action involves construction of single-family dwelling units on 160 acres and construction of 50,000 square feet of commercial and retail space on 16 acres, for a total project size of 176 acres. The SEIS reviews impacts from the changes in the proposed project consisting of construction of two out parcels including a neighborhood convenience store with gasoline pumps, rather than one 50,000 sq. ft. commercial/retail building. The total size of the project is unchanged. The residential portion of the project (160 acres) is unchanged. The project is located on the northwest corner of Ransom and Stony Point Road, Grand Island, NY, Erie County.
