Project Description: The applicant proposes to
control the seeps entering Skaneateles Creek, that come from
their on-site landfill. They propose to install a barrier and collection system between the
landfill and the creek parallel to the creek for a length of 300'. A seep collection will be
installed on the landfill side of the wall (up-gradient) to collect the seeps for pumping to
the on-site waste water treatment plant for treatment and discharge under the current
SPDES permit. Over 250 cubic yards of material will be excavated during construction.
Off-site clean fill and stone will be used to replace the excavated material generated
during construction.
