Conservation (DEC) has made a tentative
determination to approve this application for permit modification of an existing discharge
of varying amounts of treated storm water runoff into the Mohawk River. The discharge is
from a settling basin and constructed wetland treatment system at the Green Waste
Compost Facility. . The applicant plans to construct a 1.15 acre pad for a pallet
processing area. A new internal outfall (03D) will discharge storm water runoff from the
pad into the treatment system. A draft permit is available for review at the Utica DEC
