Project Description:
The Town of Hamlin proposes to create the Chase Road Water District and to take for use therein a supply of water estimated to average 12,000 GPD from the Monroe County Water Authority’s (Brockport) Lake Ontario source.  The project includes the installation of 9,200 LF of 8" water main and appurtenances to serve 40 parcels along Chase Road in the Town of Hamlin.  The project file is available for review and comment at the NYSDEC Region 8 office.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management: This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment: Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Jun 21 2002.

The Town of Seneca Falls proposes to install approximately 17,000 linear feet of water main to serve Cosad Road, Farron Road, and Garden Street Road in the Town of Seneca Falls.  The area is within the approved Village of Seneca Falls Permissive Service Area. The proposed construction will cross the adjacent area of NYSDEC Freshwater Wetland SF-31 along the right-of-way of Garden Street Road.  The file is available for review and comment at the NYSDEC Region 8 Office in Avon.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
